Life in the Negative World: Confronting Challenges in an Anti-Christian Culture

Renn, Aaron M

Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan, 2024

Renn argues that Christians have lived in three different worlds throughout the past sixty years. In the positive world (1964-1994), Christianity was held in high cultural esteem. In the neutral world (1994-2014), Christianity was reasonably tolerated. But in the negative world (2014 to the present), the culture has turned openly hostile toward Christianity. After proposing this history, Renn helps us to see the opportunity that is before us, and attempts to provide Christians with an adaptive strategy for living in the negative world.
