URCNA MISSIONS
Home Missions
The work of home missions (or church planting) in the URCNA occurs primarily at the local level, with congregations and classes engaging in this work across North America. Every one of our classes has its own committee on home missions. Below you can find information about all of our current home missionaries in the URCNA.
The URCNA also has a Synodical Committee on Home Missions (SCHM) to promote church planting across the federation. The SCHM is composed of eight men who each represent their classis, and it exists to coordinate church planting resources and information among the classes and churches of the federation.
If you would like more information about home missions in the URCNA, or to be put in contact with your local classical committee, you may contact the SCHM clerk here

Indianapolis Church Plant
Rev. Austin Reifel
In January 2022, ZRC called an ordination service at Indy Reformed where I was ordained to the Ministry of Word and sacrament and installed as a home missionary to Indianapolis. This was a very special time for our people, and we were greatly encouraged by the support received from several churches in our federation and beyond.

Iglesia Reformada Unida

This is a ministry to Spanish speakers in Ontario and the greater Los Angeles area out of the United Reformed Church in Ontario, CA. Over half of the population in Ontario speaks Spanish as their primary language. This work presently has ten families. They also have one bilingual elder who oversees the two services and one bilingual deacon. At the present time the church is looking for a pastor to lead them.

New Horizon Church in Toronto is a community of mixed ethnic and Canadian Christians. We have classes for theology and catechism. We meet regularly for prayer, fellowship meals, and men's breakfasts. We would love for you to come out and worship with us if you are in the area.
